▶ Why Register ? In the time it takes me to register and submit I can submit to two directories elsewhere
Directory Owners like registration because It discourages spammy/automated submissions. It also allows website owners to later upate their listings.
If Registration increases your chances of getting your website approved in a quality directory- its worth it!
Link Types
▶ What are Deep Links?
Deep links are inner pages of your site. A site with a high percentage of links pointing to the home page will not appear natural to the search engines.
An example of a deep link would be: http://www.pop-net.org/submit.php .
Some directories allow Deep Link URL and others do not. Some will also charge more to accept deep links.
